Presidential Speeches

 

Woodrow Wilson was the first President who used radio broadcasts to speak to the American public. Every United States President since has used public radio as a form of communicating to the masses. This post is filled with different speeches throughout the years of various Presidential speeches. Warden Harding was the first American President to broadcast his presidential acceptance speech over the radio airwaves. Franklin D. Roosevelt used this medium most effectively, in a series of speeches that he gave during his¬†presidency, which became known as, “fireside chats.”
