Pepper Young’s Family was an old time radio show that had undergone a few transformations and had been renamed a few times. The show began in 1932 and was originally called, Red Adams, which centered around high-school teenager, Red Adams. In 1933, the show’s name became Red Davis. In 1935, it was re-named, Forever Young and finally in 1936, it was named Pepper Young’s Family and for the next 23 years, the name stayed that way. The show followed Pepper’s life, beginning as a teenager and then, throughout marriage and fatherhood.
