The old time radio show, The Kraft Program had its debut on June 26, 1933. It was a musical variety show and advertised Kraft products. There were several name changes until finally deciding on Kraft Music Hall in 1934. Bing Crosby hosted from 1936 until 1946. Al Jolson became the star and host in 1947 and stayed until 1949. This radio show moved to the small screen in 1958 and stayed on the air until 1971. The television show featured a guest host, a guest entertainer and very often, a famous actress of the day.
